In my opinion Public Speaking classes is very interesting and I usually enjoy this class compare to the other classes that I have attended this semester. I like this lesson because of two main reason. The first reason is because this classes give the student the opportunity to talk in the class and give their opinion on the topics discussed in the class. Actually in nature I like to talk to audience and I usually good in giving my own opinion, that is why I feel this class is close to my heart. Beside that I find this class is very useful to develop my conversation using the international language. My English language is not very good and so I try to utilize this class as a platform to improve my English. The second reason why I like this Public Speaking classes is because the classes usually not too hard for the student and the student are more leisure in the class without emphasizing on the technicality of the subject. That makes the subject as an easy subject for me and the others.
I get many benefit from joining this Public Speaking classes. Before this I am not really confident when giving a speech in front of the audience. I also get nervous when giving a speech. Beside that I don't have ideas on how to control the audience effectively and in making them understand what I am talking about. After joining Public Speaking classes, I am now more confident in front of large audience and I have learned how to make our audience understand what I want to deliver. I also learned how to overcome my nervous with some tips from the lecturer herself. Now I can give effective communication to my audience.
I will like to give some suggestion to make this class become more interesting. What this Public Speaking classes need is to make sure that the student can participate in every conversation in the class. The lecturer play a vital role in making sure the student will participate in every conversation and other activities. The lecturer must ask the student about their opinion on certain topics instead of explaining all by the lecturer alone. This will make sure the student talk in the class. Some student will get motivated when their opinion is heard by the others.
