The Choice Is Yours

Have you ever realize that what you chose yesterday is what you get today??
Or have you ever heard that what you seed is what you reap??

We who we are today were shaped by experience, thinking and environment which we have gone through all of these years from the time we were born until the present time. We who we are today might be the product of ambitions of our parent, the philosophy of our teachers or the influence from our friends. We might be what we are today is probably bcoz we are destine to be by God. But have you ever realize that the quote saying "what you seed yesterday is what you reap today" is trying to tell us that you have the power to choose??

Yes, we have the power to choose what we want to seed today. If you want to eat mango, then you must plant a mango tree, or if you want to smell the roses you must find and plant the roses seed that you want. In this magical world we have many type of mangoes and roses that we can choose according to our own desire. That's when it comes the INFLUENCE from other people and environment (like mentioned above). The INFLUENCE is like a gadget salesman trying their hardest to make you believe that the Blacberry phone they want to sell can bear you berry fruits everyday alongside with the Wi-FI and other functions. But as the one who have the power to buy, we might or might not buy their products.

We became what we are today is because we chose to be this way whether we realize it or not. It's not only destine to be but it is what we want to be. For me myself, nobody influence in such a way that I have become what I am today except from my parent and the philosophy that I read during childhood. I remembered that the 1st book which influence me what I firmly stick with the philosophy inside the book itself is from Billy Lim-Dare To Fail which I bought using my own money after I sold my Playstation 1 to a friend of mine. I read this book when Iwas 14-years old. Can you just "Imagine" how a Negative word such as "Fail" has give new dimension to a 14-years old kids like me. Which from when I ended reading the book, I have become Not afraid to failure. Which I have become ready to fail, to fall down and to rise back. (recommended for you to find and read the book-Dare To Fail). The philosophy and influence of this book is so strong for a kid like me at that time when my other friends just know that "Fail is when you get an E in any subject in School."

The influence of this book is so strong to me untill I "Dare" making my own decision without consulting either my lecturers or parent to quit one of the most prestigious Islamic Institution in the country just to find out later that I worked for 8 month as a waiter cum bartender at a hotel. The influence is so strong untill when I continued my study at one of the crap institution in the country just to find out that I never go to classes just because I am not afraid to Fail a subject when my other friends were trying their hardest to get the Dean List award.

What I wanted to highlight here is that I Chose to read the book. The book that make 70% of my philosophy of life. It's not my mother who told me to read the book or else you didn't get a new Playstation.
I Chose.

Or else when I chose to like a girl, make her my girlfriend, we break up and later to find out that my Heart is fully guarded like a Castle with soldiers not letting any Love to enter it untill an honest Love arrive.

It is you back then that makes what you are today. So next time choose carefully,, every single choice is important. Choose seeds that will give you back the sweet taste of mangoes and roses that can give you the fragrance that you like.
